CONGRATULATIONS! NO MACHINE IN BETWEEN THE VOTER & THEIR VOTE

For 12 days in September 2019, I was embedded with John R. Brakey, elections expert and president of A.U.D.I.T.USA in Greensboro, North Carolina. I wrote a story, shot, and edited a multi-part set of videos to support the efforts towards Hand-Marked Paper Ballots, instead of a machine in between the voter & their vote.

With the combined work of computer scientists, election security experts, advocates and the NC NAACP, "Jim Crow 3.0" did not roll out, as Guilford County's Board of Elections ultimately chose to listen to the overwhelming demand for Hand-Marked Paper Ballots.
